At Maire we believe strong respectful relationships between tamariki, whanau, kaiako and the community are most important for the best learning outcomes for our tamariki. Te Ao Maori is respected and acknowledged through our assessment and learning. We have regular visits out into the community and the Taitua Arboretum. We also have many whanau events such as Matariki and breakfasts. We encourage and support nga tamariki individual interests and provide opportunities for their learning. We have a very unique large multi layered natural environment.
Like our name Maire, our tamariki grow with a strong sense of who their are and what they can achieve in an environment that encourages independance and risk taking but still having someone close by when needed.
