Welcome to 2019 at Campus Creche. For those of you who are returning a big welcome back. For those of you who are new, a hearty welcome. We hope you all enjoy your time having your precious little ones attending Campus Creche.
This year marks the 125th anniversary of women’s suffrage in New Zealand. On 19 September 1893 the Electoral Act 1893 was passed, giving all women in New Zealand the right to vote. As a result of this landmark legislation, New Zealand became the first self-governing country in the world in which all women had the right to vote in parliamentary elections.
It has been wonderful attending all the Matariki celebrations in each of our centres. All our celebrations have differed in each centre; however, all have given an opportunity for whānau to spend time at Campus Creche celebrating Matariki in style. Thank you for joining us.
We are so lucky at Campus Creche to have a lot of fruit trees. They give us the opportunity to learn about where our fruit comes from and to experience picking them straight from the tree and eating them. Tamariki in Kōwhai have really enjoyed the opportunity to go for small walks around the centre, eating the mandarins and feijoas from the trees.
A big welcome to 2018! We would like to welcome all our new children and their whānau to Campus Creche @ Fraser. We are looking forward to bringing a positive learning experience to you and your children.
It has been a busy time at Creche with lots of children returning after their summer break and new children starting and settling in. It can sometimes take a little while to get used to new routines and Creche life. Once this has happened, everyone settles into a rhythm and can focus on the fun and enjoyment to be had with new and exciting experiences.
